London 2012

Woo- hoo. Attended the London 2012 Olympic party today. They were celebrating the end of the Bejing Olympics and the handoff to London. Big party on the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace. Great concert and best of all ----Michael Phelps was there.We couldnt get up too close since we didnt have a ticket, but we found a place right in front of one of the big screens along the Mall and could see everything there.

Phelps looked so exhausted. I think he had just flown in on his way back to the States. If you saw it on the closing ceremony, we were there! Everyone was so excited when the Red Arrows flew overhead in formation with red, white and blue smoke. It was cool looking. Team GB did so well this year and the Brits are quite proud of them. We just had to go celebrate with them (and see Michael Phelps).
