Summer heat is here

It has been a brilliant week. The sun has been shining every day and..... stop the presses... we actually wore shorts and flip flops on Saturday!!! I havent worn a jacket the last 2 or 3 days. I told the kids we will have to take a photo to prove that we dont wear a jacket every day. Maybe this summer we will have warmer weather than last year. All the spring flowers are in bloom and the photo below is on our bike path to school. Those are bluebells. Not exactly like bluebonnets in Texas, but still looks familiar to have blue wildflowers blooming beside the road.
