Olympic torch in London

Today was a very busy news day. The Olympic torch was been carried through London on a 31 mile trek. We considered going to see the spectacle, but the kids weren't interested leaving all the snow in the backyard. If you see news coverage, no doubt it will be about all the protesters trying to stop the runners or grab the torch. It looked a little crazy to me. The police were getting some flack about their "rugby tackles" on people who interfered with the runners. I still wish we would have gone to the city, but on the other hand, I'm glad that our kids didnt have to experience that craziness. Just letting you know we were safe at home throwing snowballs.
